Accordion style album with cloth cover made from Japanese kimono fabric

Bookbinding: Japanese Cloth Covered Accordion Album

Duration: Four-week evening course
Dates: Wed 21 Aug 18:00 - Wed 11 Sep 2024 20:30
Location: Print Studio

Create your own Japanese-inspired book.

Learn to construct an album of double leaves, making it perfect for writing, painting or putting photos on both sides. The accordion structure is flexible to work with and creates a sculpturally interesting book. The boards will be covered with book cloth inspired by Japanese Kimono patterns, we'll provide a selection or bring along your own to make your book more personal.

Very enjoyable and great learning experience!
