All screenings of The Stimming Pool are Relaxed screenings. Relaxed screenings are for anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed cinema environment. The films are screened without advertising and with consistent lighting and lower sound levels throughout. Visitors are free to move around or come in and out of the cinema during the screening.

The Stimming Pool is an experimental—at times fantastical—hybrid feature film, co-created by a collective of autistic artists, the Neurocultures Collective, and filmmaker Steven Eastwood, who invite you into a neurodiverse world within the undulating logic of neurotypical environments.

The narrative unfolds through an autistic camera, capturing diverse subjects navigating environments both challenging and comforting.

Characters, some concealing their autism, others thriving in their communities, share a common goal: finding a space free from societal norms—the Stimming Pool.
