Tetra Pak Dry Point Printing
Learn how to do dry point printing the lo-fi way using recycled Tetra Paks.
Tetra Pak printing is essentially an intaglio printmaking process, similar to etching or dry point on metal. Instead of using metal plates as the printing matrix, this class uses recycled Tetra Pak cartons.
This material can be cut easily into different shapes and it's possible to achieve very fine line drawings or textured areas. You will also use 'Chine Colle' techniques to introduce pre-glued pieces of coloured papers.
This is a perfect course for both beginner and intermediate printmakers, and you will leave with a collection of wonderfully detailed intaglio prints.
Loved it. Learnt much more than I expected. Created prints I was pleased with. Thank you very much.
I had high expectations of the Tetra Pak Etching course...and the course and tutor did not disappoint. Beyond expectations and we all achieved a lot of printing. Thank you!
