We once again meet Nelly on a new adventure among werewolves, monsters and other creatures. Nelly Rapp is a monster agent; she protects humans from monsters and monsters from humans. She and her father Lennart go off to spend Christmas with Uncle Hannibal.

The only problem is that Lennart has invited his new girlfriend, could the holiday get any more boring? But once when she arrives at Hannibal’s place, Nelly encounters an unsolved mystery left by her late mother. A mystery that takes her on a thrilling adventure deep into the Black Forest, in search of a glimpse of hope to be able to contact those who have passed on.
