Introduction to Adobe Lightroom
Learn all about Lightroom, the streamlined photo-retouching and organisational software from the makers of Photoshop.
Taking Adobe's photo-specific functions and putting them into one package, Lightroom is perfect if you want to edit and adjust your images easily. In this course you'll be introduced to the Lightroom interface and its layout and functions. You'll be taken through all stages of using the software, from importing, organising and rating files to editing and adjusting photographs, exporting finished files and print and web preparation.
Was excellent. Barrie's style, passion, and knowledge was a joy and the time passed so quickly - a good sign! Thank you.
...Pitched at the correct level -- brilliant course! I am away home to improve.

Need to know
- What to bring
Bring along notepaper, pen and some photographs on a USB drive (minimum of at least 10 photos, no maximum). It's best to bring RAW files for maximum flexibility but JPEG will work too. If bringing RAW files, please also bring a selection of JPEG files as a failsafe. This helps to avoid the rare but not unknown problem of RAW file incompatibility with Adobe software. If you prefer to work on your own laptop with your own version of Lightroom rather than our Macs, then feel free to bring it along.
- Food & drink
Food and drinks are not allowed in the Digital Suite (a sealed water flask or drinking vessel is permitted). You are welcome to take a 15-minute break whenever suits.
