Drop in and Play

Duration: 12:30 - 15:30
Dates: Sat 25 Jan 2025 12:30 - 15:30
Location: Meeting Room & Ground floor

Free, drop-in

Drop in and Play is back for January 2025!

Try out a range of new games and meet the creatives behind them at this free, drop-in event in partnership with Ninja Kiwi.

Taking place between 12:30 and 15:30 on Sat 25 January, DCA’s Meeting Room and ground floor will be filled with local game developers as they showcase their newest phone, desktop, console, and VR games. Come along to be among the first to test brand new games and find out more about what it takes to be a game designer.

This year’s showcase will include games from this year’s DunDev teams. DunDev is a residential programme which offers four early-stage game studios accommodation, office space and prize money to develop their studio and game. This programme is delivered by the UK Games Talent and Finance Community Interest Company, and funded by the UK Government.

Our January Drop in and Play will include a Careers Spotlight event featuring short talks and introductions to careers in gaming, taking place between 11:30 – 12:30. This segment of the event is free, but ticketed – book your place now via our website.

Great chance to look at game development and excellent opportunity to introduce developers! Would come again.
