Your Plinth is My Lap/The Space Between Us

20 April - 09 June 2002

In Gallery 1,Your Plinth is My Lap brings together new and recent works by Fiona Banner, several of which draw attention to the inadequacy of words at the extremes of human experience; love and hate, sex and violence.

In Gallery 2,The Space Between Us explores the business of attraction. Ann Lislegaard’s sound, light, video and photographic works place the viewer at the centre, emphasising the act of looking and the desire to discover.
