Katy Dove

17 September - 20 November 2016

A memorial exhibition of drawings, paintings, prints and animations by Katy Dove (1970 - 2015) programmed in partnership with Discovery Film Festival.

Two framed images from Katy Dove's exhibition shows two colourful, abstract pictures. They are circles and shapes.

Katy studied at DJCAD in the 1990s and worked at DCA when it first opened, later participating in the programme and working with the Print Studio. The exhibition was proposed to Katy before she died and will be delivered in close collaboration with the artist’s family and friends: it seeks to convey her individual artistic practice alongside her collaborative work in Muscles of Joy and Full Eye. We intend to produce a major publication on the artist’s work and life.
