Thomas Demand

21 June - 10 August 2003

Reality is not what it seems in Thomas Demands eerily atmospheric images. His photographs and films record life-size, precisely lit models, made using only coloured paper and card. They recreate scenes found in newspapers, films, books, and on the internet. The results are stunning images, a somehow both familiar and other-worldly compelling version of reality.
