April films at DCA
See what's coming up this April at DCA Cinema
April is here, and we’re delighted to share our cinema programme for this month.
We’ve got plenty of films to keep little ones and adults alike entertained over the spring holidays, including martial arts adventure Kung Fu Panda 4, Oscar-nominated animation Robot Dreams, and the magic of Mary Poppins on its 60th anniversary.
Those looking for a little more edge will love new genre horror Late Night with the Devil, dark psychological drama Mothers’ Instinct and gritty revenge thriller Monkey Man, the directorial debut of actor Dev Patel. Later in the month, you can join us for A24’s hotly-anticipated dystopian action film Civil War, and the touching Amy Winehouse biopic Back to Black.
We’re screening a variety of acclaimed international features, from darkly comedic Icelandic road movie Driving Mum, to poetic Senegalese romance Banel & Adama and Japanese eco-parable Evil Does Not Exist. We’ll also be sharing some vintage classics, with stunning 4K restorations of On the Waterfront starring Marlon Brando, Martin Scorsese’s After Hours, and Ratcatcher, a wistful drama set in 1970s Glasgow.
Finally, there’s only a month to go until Dundead Festival kicks off - keep your eyes peeled for more details! We’re looking forward to seeing you at DCA Cinema soon.
