Family Activity at DCA

Find out what's on for families during January and download our Family Activity Calendar

We host many fun activities for families at DCA, from film screenings and workshops, to free creative activities for all ages and online resources. To make it as easy as possible for you to plan your family trip, our monthly calendar brings everything together in one place.

This month, we've got fun with Messy Play, art making at Family Art Lab and brand new games to enjoy at Drop in and Play. Create Space has also been refreshed with activities inspired by our current exhibition, Soft Impressions.

If you're coming along to DCA to enjoy some family activity, don't forget that you can extend your visit with lunch in Jute Café Bar (you can even colour in the kids menu) and a trip to our shop, which stocks some great toys, books and pocket money friendly games.

Workshops and events

From babies and toddlers to wee ones and teens, we've got some exciting workshops and events coming up this month. There's the first Family Art Lab inspired by the work on show in our exhibition, Soft Impressions. Suitable for ages 3+, book a Donate What You Can £0-£8 ticket and come along to try some printing. Then there's the return of Drop in and Play, a free event in partnership with Ninja Kiwi that allows you to try out brand new games created by local developers.
