Enjoy world-class opera at DCA Cinema
We're thrilled to announce our new season of Live from the Met opera screenings. Always a highlight of the Cinema year, these award-winning broadcasts bring world-class opera to our screens live from the Metropolitan Opera in New York.
Priority booking opens for DCA Members from Mon 12 August at 10:00, with tickets and passes available in-person at DCA Box Office, or by phone on 01382 432 444.
Tickets go on general sale from Mon 19 August, with both tickets and passes available to book online as well as in-person or by phone.
If you'd like to sign up for DCA Membership in order to secure priority booking, you can do this in advance or at DCA Box Office during the priority booking period – you'll be able to book your tickets at the same time.

The season opens on Saturday, October 5, 2024, with Offenbach’s Les Contes d’Hoffmann, which stars acclaimed tenor Benjamin Bernheim in the title role of the tormented poet, alongside sopranos Erin Morley and Pretty Yende and mezzo-soprano Clémentine Margaine.
The new programme also brings a chance to enjoy the Met premiere of Jeanine Tesori’s new opera Grounded, new stagings of Strauss’s Salome and Verdi’s Aida, and the first-ever Met transmission of Beethoven’s Fidelio. Puccini’s Tosca, Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro and director Bartlett Sher’s beloved take on Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia complete this exciting season.
