New films from Fri 7 March
See what's on including Mickey 17, The Last Showgirl, I'm Still Here and more.
Bong Joon-ho – the acclaimed director of 2019’s Parasite - returns to the big screen with Mickey 17, arriving at DCA this week. This masterful blend of sci-fi and comedy sees Robert Pattinson star as an expendable clone whose job it is to die.
Elsewhere, Pamela Anderson makes a dazzling return in The Last Showgirl, and there’s more time to see I’m Still Here. We’ve brought back A Complete Unknown and The Brutalist to celebrate their success at the Academy Awards, and you can see David Tennant and Cush Jumbo filmed live on stage in Macbeth.
The Japan Foundation Touring Film Programme continues with 99% Cloudy … Always, there’s a chance to catch little-seen feminist feature Leila and the Wolves and our Artist’s Choice Screening is West Indies: The Fugitive Slaves of Liberty. Finally, don’t miss the March edition of the DCA Film Quiz. Enjoy!
