Sebastian Stan and Adam Pearson star in A Different Man, arriving at DCA this week. This masterful blend of dark comedy, sci-fi and romance follows Edward (Stan), who undergoes a radical medical procedure to achieve his dream face – but his transformation soon turns into a nightmare.
Join us for The Teacher, a Palestinian drama which sees a teacher caught between political resistance and supporting his students, and Astrakan 79, which explores coming-of-age in the Soviet Union. You can also enjoy Joker: Folie à Deux, explore the birth of British reggae with Harder than the Rock, and keep the family entertained with Discovery Family Film Club: Shorts for Wee Ones and Middle Ones.
Our Surrealism on Film season continues with Le Regard, featuring a live musical performance from Hoolan Ensemble, and Symbiopsychotaxiplasm: Take One. Get ready for Gladiator II with a 4K Re-Release of Gladiator and see where a legendary tale began with Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope in collaboration with V&A Dundee.
Finally, we’re delighted to bring Shackleton documentary Endurance to Dundee, home of the RRS Discovery, the ship that carried the explorer on his first journey to Antartica.
