New films from Friday 12 July

See what's on at DCA Cinema, including Despicable Me 4, A Quiet Place: Day One and Àma Gloria.

There’s more family fun to come this week at DCA Cinema, as Despicable Me 4 arrives on our screens. This hilarious new instalment of Minions mayhem sees Gru and family on the run from a new nemesis, and features the vocal talents of Steve Carrell, Kirsten Wiig and Will Ferrell.

Elsewhere, experience the day the world went silent in A Quiet Place: Day One, the nail-biting prequel to the acclaimed A Quiet Place franchise. We’re also bringing you the best of international filmmaking, with tender French drama Àma Gloria and darkly humorous Moroccan thriller Hounds.

If you love documentaries, join us for Strike: An Uncivil War, which explores the 1984 Battle of Orgreave, and our third Artist’s Choice Screening selected by Sukaina Kubba, Feet in Water, Head on Fire. Finally, see Andrew Scott (All of Us Strangers, Fleabag) in the multi award-winning production of Noël Coward’s comedy Present Laughter from NT Live. Enjoy!
